3 Ways to Accelerate Your Breakthrough

Church for me is a place of refuge. It's the one place I can go with all my problems and walk out confident that everything is going to be okay.  As christians we are taught to turn our problems over to God but oftentimes we are not taught how to aid God in that process.

If you're looking for a breakthrough in you finances, relationships, or career here are 3 tips for speeding up the process:

Seek Him

Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. - 1 Chronicles 16:11

God is sovereign and in control. Go to him in prayer for strength, direction, guidance, and comfort. Tell him all of your troubles and the desires of your heart. You have not because you ask not.

Trust Him

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6

Asking God for help is not enough.  You have to exercise your faith and believe that He will see you through. It is impossible to trust God and doubt God at the same time.

Praise Him

Sing to the Lord, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.   For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised.

Praise God in anticipation of your breakthrough. Reflect on all the times He brought you through and praise him in advance of your new blessing(s) and testimony. If He did it before he can do it again.

SPOILER ALERT: 3 things you should know about letting the lord fight your battles

  1. The fight is fierce. Just because the Lord is fighting for you does not mean that the battle will be easy.

  2. We win. With God on our side we always come out victorious.

  3. You still have to show up. You cannot be idle in this fight. Remember, you have to seek Him, trust Him, and praise Him.
